Paul’s main focus at Lucid is leading the company’s network of news/entertainment sites in English and Spanish through a partnership with The Associated Press, the world’s largest news organization. The main portals in the network are NewsflashNews.com and NoticieroMundial.com – with vertical sites covering politics, finance, health, sports, entertainment, technology, and pets. Paul also is responsible for all business development for the digital agency side of the business.
Paul is an international speaker, consultant and best-selling author on topics including leadership, sales, marketing, and global business strategy. He has consulted on digital marketing for more than 16 years, advising entrepreneurs, emerging-growth companies, and global organizations on how to generate more clicks, more customers, and more cash as quickly as possible by implementing more effective digital marketing strategies.
Before Lucid, Paul worked for The Associated Press and American Express. He also led all business development for EyeCatcher Media, a digital strategy and marketing firm that offers a wide array of services, including: Web design and development; social marketing; search engine marketing; media buying and planning; digital content syndication; monetization solutions; online community-building; animation; video production and platforms; and integrated sales and marketing training. Early in his career, Paul worked for The Federal Reserve System as a bank examiner and then at The Associated Press in charge of digital content distribution.
While at EyeCatcher Media, Paul worked on marketing and business development initiatives with a wide range of organizations, including: Google, Yahoo!, Microsoft, J.P. Morgan Chase, American Express, Merrill Lynch, McKinsey & Company, IBM, eMusic, The Paris Chamber of Commerce, and The Wall Street Journal Online.
Paul also sits on the boards of: the Ironbound Film and Television Studios, which is owned by Prudential Insurance; and the children’s charity, Books for Kids.
He has taught various courses on entrepreneurship, sales, marketing, leadership, and global business at The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, Pace University, and Baruch College, City University of New York. He currently teaches social media and digital marketing at New York University.
Paul has five degrees, including: an MBA in marketing and finance from New York University’s Stern School of Business; a Masters in Literature from Trinity College, Cambridge University where the British government awarded him the Marshall Scholarship; a Masters in Public Administration at The Fels Center of Government, University of Pennsylvania, where he was a Fels Scholar; a BA in English from Penn; and a BS in finance from The Wharton School of Business. While living in Europe, Paul was awarded a Trinity Scholarship to study Spanish language and culture at the University of Salamanca, one of the oldest universities in the world.

Paul is the lead singer/songwriter behind the Parents’ Choice award-winning children’s band, The Strawberry Traffic Jam. The Strawberry Traffic Jam is partnered with Ken Kragen who has not only managed such superstars as Lionel Richie, Kenny Rogers, and The BeeGees, but has also produced the song, “We Are The World” with Michael Jackson and Quincy Jones.
The band contributes part of all music proceeds to its two main charity partners, Books For Kids and WHY Hunger, the latter of which was started 30 years ago by the famous musician, Harry Chapin, and is supported by musicians, including: Bruce Springsteen, Carlos Santa, Chicago, and Jackson Browne. In 2008, The Strawberry Traffic Jam was the first children’s band named as one of the charity’s “Artists Against Hunger.” Paul and his band have written theme songs for several non-profit organizations and charities, most recently for The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and National Geographic Kids.
